 Andrea Fazel, Program Director

Andrea Fazel is a former high school English and drama teacher who has worked in high schools in San Jose, Salinas, and Oxnard for over seven years. As a teacher, Andrea facilitated campus support services for LGBTQ students. Andrea recently graduated with honors from the University of California, Davis' King Hall School of law, where she focused on civil rights law, particularly with respect to LGBTQ issues in schools. She received her teaching credential and MA through Stanford University's STEP Program, and graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a BA in Literature. Andrea is excited to bring her prior experiences together in her work with Ally Action.
